Beer description
Gose-style beer. To the traditional German recipe, which calls for the addition of salt, we added berries: blackberries, currants, raspberries and blueberries, and also a pinch of Madagascar pepper.
TO THE VIEW: it has a striking antique pink color and a definite haze, the foam with delicate pinkish tones is abundant, compact, fairly fine and of good persistence.
TO THE NOSE: Raspberry emerges on first olfaction, then blackberry, blueberry and currant appear. a subtle salty streak is immediately present, forming a background to the fruit notes. At a slightly higher temperature there is a delicate malty component and a slight spicy touch of pepper.
ON THE PALATE: On the sip it has a light carbonation and a smooth but not meager body; the tart freshness of the red fruits is the first striking element, but it is the distinct salinity that emerges that creates salivation and makes the beer extremely thirst-quenching; the subtle peppery and umami effect leads to a dry, clean finish with hints of red currants and a slight citrus touch.
