Beer description
A strong beer inspired by Belgian Dubbel, but brewed strictly according to the German purity law. Normally, sugar syrup is often used to enhance the flavor, but instead we use more original wort and strong caramel malt. This gives the beer body and depth - without any cheating. The hops Fuggles and Styrian Golding balance the malt with earthy, spicy, and slightly floral notes.
The result: a beer that reminds of monastery tradition, but brewed with Franconian seriousness and a hint of playfulness. No syrup, no tricks - just honest malt abundance.
