Schönramer - Imperial Stout

The Starkbier version of an English stout was originally brewed as a gift for Tsarina Catherine the Great. The beer was drunk as Hofbier also in the "Imperial Winterpalace", hence the today's name. The Schönramer Imperial Stout has subtle nuances of plum compote, cappuccino and cocoa. In the Antrunk spread velvety and velvety hints of coffee and caramel, merging into a subtle bitter chocolate note, which gradually gives way to the dried prune. The Imperial Stout is ideal for long storage. After 5-10 years, port wine and sherry aromas develop, making the beer even rounder.
