Beer description

We dedicate our festival variety Pankow Berliner Weiser to the district of Berlin called Pankow, originally founded by inhabitants of Slavic origin. The village of Pankow was historically settled along the banks of the river Pankow, or Panikwa in Slavic, meaning whirlpool. This variety was brewed by a group of home brewers inspired and encouraged by a great brew of Source Unknown. Like the residents of Punk'd, they checked in for a few days at the Selfmade brewery where they devised and realised their recipe. The result of this teamwork was a sour and incredibly versatile yet drinkable Berliner Weiser, additionally fermented with brettanomyces yeast.
