Selfmade - Pantheon

Pantheon is the variety we brewed for the brewery's 5th anniversary. When creating this brew, we were inspired by the myths and legends of Ancient Greece and Rome, stories of fortitude, straightforwardness of character, ingenuity and endurance. It would take much more than one lifetime to fully grasp the full meaning and extent of the influence of ancient culture on civilisation. Nevertheless, these stories were created for the ordinary people of the time. This is exactly the idea we wanted to put into our barleywine. A strong base of special malts, long aging on oak wood chips and our ingenuity allowed us to achieve a persistent aroma of dried fruits and a subtle hint of noble wood.
