With Septante Neuf, BAPBAP is taking on Triple beer, which is too often associated with the heavy, sugary versions produced by industrial breweries. So we decided it was time to prove that Triple could go hand in hand with quality!
On the programme for this beautiful organic Triple: a base of organic & Ile-de-France Pils malt, which brings lovely notes of honeyed cereals and fresh bread, topped off with delicately herbaceous hops (Ariana and Fuggles) for a moderate bitterness. But the key element, of course, is the abbey yeast and its delicate clove and nutmeg esters, which give so much depth to such a seemingly simple recipe. Brewed in our very own abbey at septante-neuf rue Saint-Maur.
