We wanted to brew an American Double IPA that would bring us back to the old days. When IPAs were clear, copper colored and had a lasting, lingering bitterness. Despite contemporary rating trends we hope to bring back a variation of styles and hopefully show how pleasant bitterness can be. This beer is an homage to one of the beers that once sparked my own love for hoppy beers. A legendary beer that in many ways paved the way for modern IPAs. More than generously hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial, Columbus and Cascade hops. 100+ IBU.
