Short's Tranquil GIPA

Tranquil GIPA is a gin inspired IPA brewed to blend with Tailgate Brewery’s sherry barrel aged IPA to create a Negroni inspired IPA blend served at an event surrounding the 2018 Craft Brewer’s Conference in Nashville. Brewed with Michigan Star Thistle Honey from Sleeping Bear Farms, juniper berry, coriander, Northern Michigan Blue Spruce, and Buddha’s Hand, this beer carries wonderful aromas of tropical citrus, juniper, sweet honey and slight spruce. Light orange in color, slightly hazy, and with a frothy white head, Tranquil GIPA leads with citrus flavors before blending into juniper gin-like qualities and floral notes. Light bodied and refreshing, this beer finishes dry and slightly bitter.
