Czech collaboration. When the brewery that invented Pilsner approaches you to brew something modern and edgy, you just have to try how a Cold IPA works with an open fermentation vat, right? That’s what we did – the several bags of flaked rice we grained in turned into several pallets, the boxes of hops turned into a truckload and the tanks were suddenly towering way higher than our eyes could reach. Here is our chance to see what a difference the size makes flavour-wise. Both of us brewed this with their own Pilsner malt and lager yeast as well as the same mix of American and New Zealand hops for an intense citrus and tropical aroma rooted in a very pale, very dry and pretty bitter, drinkable beer.
