The velvety black color of the beer is crowned by a dark head, followed by aromas of raspberries, wood, dark malts and whisky. The taste is complex, with a full body, mild decent acidity and a rich taste character. Le Rouge et le Noir spent two years with raspberries and wild yeast in an oak barrel.
