Beer description
A clean, crisp and thirst-quenching Kölsch-style ale hailing from Cologne, Germany. Pale and delicate, this clean ale has mild fruity notes and slight Sauvignon Blanc wine character in the finish. Santiam hops, which are considered to have similar flavors (slightly spicy and floral) to Tettnang and Spalter Spalt hops, which are traditionally used in German Kölsch, provide just a touch of noble hop flavor and low bitterness in keeping with the overall subtlety of the style. Ümläut Löve is made with Pilsner malt and 5 percent wheat malt. The perfect summertime beer!
