Beer description

Imperial pastry stout with chocolate and sweetgrass. Many have heard about the Belarusian and Polish specialty - sweetgrass nalewka. But few people know the features of this cereal. It grows quite widely in Belarus, but it is most widespread in Bielaviežskaja pušča and is considered one of its symbols. Sweetgrass is eagerly eaten by bison - hence the name (it is "bisongrass" in Belarusian), but it is also very appealing to people. This plant contains coumarin - an aromatic substance used in the food industry, tobacco, perfumery. This substance is also found in cinnamon and tonka beans, for example. Thanks to coumarin, they have a bright, sweet profile that goes well with the now popular pastry stouts. So, yes, we added sweetgrass to our new Slodyč. We made an extract from dried leaves and conditioned the beer on it together with cocoa. This combination goes perfectly well with the sweet base of the beer and it's roasty and chocolaty malts. Here's the dessert you've never tried before!
