Halfway Crooks Beer - Slow Jams

a special collaboration we brewed in 2020 with our friends at portrait coffee. Slow Jams is a 7% Baltic-style Porter brewed with Portrait's TONI. It's the one you can't beat until you feeeeel the beat....Notes of rounded dark chocolate, morning ritual, walnuts, cocoa nib, kalita wave, hazelnut, affogato, v60, that look out your window upon that first sip, and that nice rounded bitterness we know and love. We lagered Slow Jams low and slow for 8 weeks to lay down a nice bass line for TONI.
