Beer description
Pours hazy dark amber with a huge, frothy, tan head; lots of lacing. Aroma of licorice, cough syrup, spoiled raisin, caramel, candi sugar, pancake with molasses, some band aid - weird overall. It tastes medium to heavy syrupy sweet, hints of caramel & brown sugar, and light spicy bitter, some dough, spicy licorice, bit plastic & phenolic. Dryish, spicy finish, more licorice & aniseed, lingering syrup & band aid, big dash of jenever alcohol. Medium body, oily texture (the oats?), lively carbonation. This is a bit overdone...
