Sonnen-Bräu - Euer Festbier (2025)

The special brew "EuerFestbier" in 2025 is a "Bamberg Style Rauch Märzen". A classic "Rauch-Märzen" with 13.5% original wort to live up to its name as the festival beer in 2025. A combination of Bamberg beech smoked malt and dark caramel malts give the beer a copper-brown color and a subtle smoky aroma, complemented by the traditional hop selection. Seasonal festival beer for Kerwa, enjoyable from mid-September to mid-October. Result of the vote (2025): - 43% Bamberg Style (reddish to dark, smoky, caramel notes). - 34% Classic South Bavarian (pale, slim malt body, balanced hop note). - 23% Dark Bavarian (dark, roasted, full-bodied).
