Spontaneous, sour
Fermentation
Beer description
Another new beer from our Farmhouse Espiga project. We continue to discover the potential of our KM zero with this beer that consists of a Blender between two musts: Most d'una Grape ale wrapped in foudre with Xarel-lo raïm del Penedès and a most farmhouse fermented with llevat de la casa, and with a dry hopping of Cascade hops grown in Girona. Once the blending is done, we add red nabius and leave it to macerate for 4 months at room temperature and after 2 months in cold storage we can enjoy its complexity.
It is an 8-grain beer with a clear appearance and a pinkish colour accompanied by a light carbonation with a fine bombolla that makes it very pleasant in the mouth. The aroma is dominated by funky notes from the spontaneous fermentations, as well as of wood, followed by the sweet notes of the red nabius. They find a perfect balance between the sweet fruits and the acidity typical of this variety of beer. Despite its high complexity it is a light and easy to drink beer, ideal for enjoying an aperitif on a hot day.
Malts: Ordi malt, blonde malt, civada malt, blonde flocs and civada flocs.
