Wren House - Steel Toed Flip Flops

Steel Toed Flip Flops began its life in the early Fall of 2018. Our friend Dan from @mikkellersd drove out to Phoenix with one goal in mind, create a viscous and flavorful imperial stout without any adjuncts. We achieved that goal and immediately put it into Woodford Reserve Double Oak barrels known for their rich carmel and oak character. The final blend is spectacular. Soft oak dominates the aroma, which leads to a beautiful background of vanilla & toffee. Just enough booze to remind you of the bourbon once held in these barrels. Simply a balanced, delicious stout, some of the best barrels and time. We are super happy with how this turned out and can’t wait to share it with you all during our anniversary week celebration.
