Once upon a time, we had four unique whiskey casks in our tasting room. After conditioning a base stout in them, we carefully tested each barrel to see how it affected the flavor and aroma of the beer. The result? Still Sickles - a still version of our 3 year anniversary stout, SICKLES. By minimizing carbonation, still beer allows us to showcase the complex and nuanced flavors of bigger, bolder beers, much like a fine wine.
