Beer description
Gnostic State is a creamy and semi-sweet Porter with a pronounced coconut flavor derived from conditioning the beer on over 4 pounds per barrel of house toasted coconut. Additionally this beer was conditioned on over 3 pounds per barrel of Peruvian cocoa nibs, which interweave aromas of toasted coconut with bakers chocolate and cocoa powder. This is all built upon a malt profile that provides background bready flavors from Virginia barley malted by Epiphany Craft Malt, and a rich biscuity character from Murphy and Rude’s Belgian Amber malt.
