Beer description
We got a shipment of an assortment of Smooth Ambler wheated bourbon barrels in, and after smelling them, we decided a smooth, Imperial Brown Ale would compliment the mellow aromas coming out of the barrels. Less domineering then other whiskey barrels we have tried, these barrels gave off notes of brown sugar, toffee and vanilla.
