A dark, thick, full-bodied strong ale. Moderately sweet, roasty-roasted, with flavours of coffee, chocolate, sultanas, prunes and notes of cask strength alcohol. Aged for 12 months in island whisky casks. The future is predetermined. It is subject to the profound laws of existence. Time is always moving forward, repeating the cycle of life over and over again. Every object in the universe has its own unique purpose. To recognise it and fulfil it is the highest goal of existence. Or maybe the future is in your hands and it's all a fantasy? Who knows... The best way to understand this philosophical question is to drink imperial stout, preferably aged in barrels.
