Sudden Death - Old Piney

Old Piney DDH West Coast IPA w/ Centennial, Nugget, Cascade – 6,8% This month’s Best Coast IPA (the Haze Craze is over fools!) is a throwback, blending classic raw materials with modern brewing technique. Old Piney was mashed with Pilsner, Munich, and rye malt (❌ no Crystal malts allowed ?), boiled for 75 minutes, and kettle hopped every 15 minutes with Nugget and Centennial. More Centennial and Nugget went into the double dry hop, with a touch of Cascade rounding out the whole. Bright, bitter, and dry (yet round), this is hoppy beer in its most unadulterated form. We taste citrus ? pine ? malt ? BU: 75. hop varieties / products: Centennial (Incognito, T-90), Nugget (T-90, CGX), Cascade (T-90, Cryo).
