Beer description
Cold IPA is a trendy beer of recent times and we like to do such things, but we do them a bit our own way. We did not try to achieve a higher attenuation and a drier body by using rice, but a special “diastatic” malt in combination with oatmeal, which creates haze and creaminess in the beer. As true rebels, we did not ferment with traditional bottom yeast at higher temperatures, but with hybrid yeast at lower temperatures. For dry hopping, we chose coconutty Sabro along with Talus and as a counterpoint we used Idaho 7 with certainty in the form of Citra. We chose a relatively low bitterness to emphasize the delicate character. Alc. 6.5%, bitterness 25 IBU.
