Our next IPA del Barrio is the first to feature a European hops. There have been many beautiful aroma hops coming out of the German hops breeding programs but not that many of them are suited to playing big roles in hazy IPAs. But Callista is one that is. It’s a hop that is bursting with peachy goodness so paired with Citra here we get notes of peach ring jellies, guava, grapefruit and a slight herbal touch that lingers in the background. We have tweaked the bitterness up slightly this time around to enhance drinkability to make this an very easy drinking beer for every occasion.
