The Great Dane Brewing Company - Kölsch

Kolsch is an old German-style ale that originated in Köln (Cologne) about 30 miles south of its Düsseldorf cousin the altbier. This beer is light and crisp, somewhat similar to a Pilsner (a lager style, of course) but with subtly fruity flavors typical of an ale. This batch was made with imported German malts and hops for authentic German flavor. The combination of crisp and fruity makes it very refreshing.
