Beer description
With this beer, they are drawing inspiration from the fairly recent phenomenon called the New England IPA. These are known for particularly fruity hop aromas, light color and body, lower hop bitterness, and hazy appearance. They used Marris Otter Pale malt, wheat malt, and flaked oats to provide a light malty background. Then hopped it with Ahtanum, Mosaic, Citra, and Denali in several additions to impart the great fruity aromas. Aromas of mango, peach and apricot dominate the nose, followed by the lightly sweet malt flavor on the palate. This one is a real crowd pleaser.
Hops
Citra - HBC 394 aromatic hop, Denali dual hop, Mosaic - HBC 369 aromatic hop, Ahtanum aromatic hop
