Beer description
This seasonal offering is made by “schlumping” 99 lbs. of pumpkin right into the mash. Then it is business-as-usual until the end of the boil, when they add a carefully measured portion of spices, including allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and clove. When it is nearly done fermenting they add another portion of spices as a “dry-spice” addition right into the fermentor. The result is an aromatic, spicy ale that is light on the palate (easy drinkin’) with a nice pumpkin flavor.
