Beer description
Some like it hot….. and then there’s some who like it really hot. For anyone who thought the Mango Habanero was a joke, you gotta get your bad self down to your local cidercade and try this bad mammajamma. I personally think the Ciderhead’s behind the glass curtain read enough comments about the Mango Hab not being hot enough, and they decided to do something about it. Thus became the pepper laden most wonderfully hot beverage that aptly calls it out…. The Hot One. I’m not allowed to let you in on how many [6 lbs.] of Carolina Reapers were steeped, or how much CR extract was added to really punch it up and that there just may have been some Scorpion Peppers tossed in there just for fun [ and we didn’t know what else to do with them] So, down to the nuts and bolts of this amazingly hot cider seltzer. Starts with the awesome apple cider base, added watermelon to chill out the peppers and smooth things out and finally [as mentioned above although I was never supposed to tell anyone] the 1,400,000 - 2,200,000 Scoville Heat Unit rated Carolina Reaper peppers were infused into the apple/watermelon cider. The watermelons ‘bout hit the roof and so will your taste buds. All that written, one of the coolest things about this cider [and it’s def the hottest cider we’ve ever done] is that the heat comes at the end and then goes away. Only lingers just long enough for you to know you had a really amazing cider, then poof, it’s gone, until your next drink. And the heat goes on!
