Cervecería de Colima - Ticús

Ticús was the third beer we added to our permanent lineup. We always knew we wanted a dark beer, suitable for the tropics. After three trials in the pilot plant with different yeasts and variations in the here and there of malts and hops, we came up with the version that was received with such success at Jardín Trapiche that we decided to bring forward its official launch to October 2014, originally planned for 2015. Its color -like roasted coffee bean- and its persistent cream-colored foam, invite you to make it fly across the palate. A light yet complex porter beer, with flavors of bread crust, nuts, chocolate and coffee. Malts: Pale Ale, Chocolate and Carafa spezial from Germany and England. Hops: Magnum, Sorachi Ace.
