Beer description

The Brest Winter 19 is a blond winter ale with Tonka bean from the Brasserie de Trévarn in collaboration with Bière et Malt Brest. This Brest Winter 19 offers a dark blond colour with a foam that is unfortunately not very abundant and not very persistent. On the nose, one is faced with a beer full of freshness, with hoppy notes around exotic fruits (reminiscent of pineapple), which are mixed with light malty aromas, notably of oats. There are also vanilla aromas, due to the tonka bean. On the palate, it is very pleasant. From the very first sip, the tonka bean is brought to the fore, delivering exquisite notes of vanilla and coconut. Quite short in the mouth, it is nevertheless rather round, for a rather well-balanced whole.
