Spontaneous, sour
Fermentation
Beer description
Trou Norman is a sour red ale with Palmarolle pimbina. This wheat beer stands out for its acidic taste, fruity and caramelised aromas and low bitterness. The beer's acidity comes from a 48-hour lactic fermentation of the wort (sour wort). As well as having a nose of candied fruit, it has a sweet, tangy taste that makes it very refreshing. With this brew, we offer Mr Crépeault a Norman hole between his last pint of Prospecteur and his departure for France. (SRM 16)
