The Trunk Export Dunkel shines in the color of an intense horse chestnut with a fiery red tinge. The clearly filtered barley juice is topped by a cream-colored, fine- to medium-pored foam. Aromas of malt, grain and bread unfold on the nose, underpinned by roasted and toasted notes as well as hints of apple, brown sugar and licorice. Pleasantly soft and sweet, it flows into the mouth at the first sip. Afterwards, cereal, bread and toast aromas reveal themselves here as well, followed by chocolate, espresso, caramel and Brazil nut - with a present bitterness in the finish.
