Beer description
A barrel aged Belgian IPA blended with 35% fresh west coast IIPA…. but this isn’t about the hops! Aged for a year in oak barrels, the hops have faded but the funk has INVADED! Pouring a brilliant, deep gold, there’s lots of oak and brett aromas on the nose. Fruity, chardonnay like flavours greet you through the middle and a faint reminiscence of hops lingers like a memory on the tongue. The finish is dry, with a lively acidity that helps with the drinkability. A rich, honey-like mouthfeel brought from the fresh IIPA also helps to contribute a nice fuller, more round body to the beer as well. Can conditioned and aged for 7 months.
