Chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, licorice, chili peppers! Is there anything Marilee wouldn't add to this beer? She wanted to include every idea we had. So we got involved. That's a good thing, because this combination of flavors makes a tasty porter. Contrary to the trend towards sticky-sweet pastry beers, we have designed a brew with a ton of taste without falling into the sugar trap. Funny and tasty beer doesn't necessarily have to be disgustingly sweet. It's robust without being sweet, and it manages to stay balanced while wrapping a punch of flavor.
