Beer description
This collaboration with our good friends in Maplewood is our reference to the pastries, but of course with a hippo touch. Instead of a full-fledged stout, we opted for a white stout (a confusing, lighter version with a hint of roasted stout, but so much lighter in color). We add a healthy dose of lactose, oats, graham flour, vanilla and wheat flakes to mimic the creaminess of tiramisu. The sweetness of lactose and coffee creates a coffee liqueur note, while a chocolate undertone completes the desert profile.
