Beer description
Our friends at Beer52 in the UK asked us to try our hand at reviving a historical beer style. So, we did just that, drawing inspiration from Gruit and Kuit beers that were popular in Holland in the late-Middle Ages. In classic Two Chefs style, we went for a complete modern-day IPA makeover using a contemporary yeast strain and potent new world hops in addition to a malt bill consisting of 6 different types of grain! Wheat, oats, and spelt make for a rounded and smooth body, while maize and rye add a spicy, dry, and crisp touch. Two types of hops infuse the beer with vivid flavors and intense aromas of citrus, grapefruit, and orange, leading to a balanced and clean bitter finish.
Schöne Farbe und guter Schaum. In Geruch und Antrunk leichtw Zitrusnote, etwas bitter im Abgang.
Top of the crops.

Decent drink. Nice citrus aroma and taste with a subtle maltiness thrown in. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. Smooth, crisp and refreshing session ale even at the abv
