Blooming Lotus was created in collaboration with the Lotus World Music and Arts Festival in Bloomington, IN.
Blooming Lotus is a unique creation in that it isn’t a single beer but a blended beer cocktail. It’s a combination of two different types of fruited sour ales: Razz Cherry Beret, a kettle-soured ale with Raspberries and Cherries, and Prim, an oak-aged, mixed-fermentation sour ale with plums and cardamom. Razz Cherry Beret provides the foundation with sweet, succulent flavors of raspberry and cherry while a spritz of Prim adds the distinct spicy accent of cardamom and refreshing punch of acidity, functioning much like bitters would in a typical spirits cocktail.
