Beer description
Ramping up“clean” barrel aged beer program gave us the opportunity to brew this classic Scottish style. The high alcohol content combined with the rich malty profile of this beer lends itself perfectly to barrel aging. This beer was aged for 7 months in freshly emptied Rabbit Hole bourbon barrels. The name of the beer references this rabbit connection as Flayrah means “particularly good food” in the Lapine language of Richard Adams’ classic novel Watership Down.
