Beer description
This beer was created to highlight the freshest possible ingredients from our local partners in both Indianapolis and Bloomington. All malt for this porter was kilned or roasted by our friends at Sugar Creek Malt Co. from Lebanon Indiana within 48 hours of brewing. The chocolate malt, which contributes the most impact to the flavor was roasted on sight at Upland Fountain Square during a special event the night before brewing. After fermentation, the beer was steeped on freshly roasted coffee beans from both Calvin Fletcher Coffee Company in Indianapolis and Hopscotch Coffee in Bloomington. The result is a roasty, chocolatey, slightly fruity English style brown porter with the rich complexity of the freshest possible malts and coffee
