Upland - Get Shifty

Get Shifty is an English-style Dark Mild ale brewed exclusively with locally malted barley from Sugar Creek Malt Co. in Lebanon Indiana. The Dark Mild style as it is known today is modeled after the malty, brown, low-gravity brew that became popular in England in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As people in the Midwestern United States were becoming acquainted with Champagne Velvet, the working class of Britain was spending long nights in the pub enjoying their after-work shifties in the form of a Dark Mild.
