Upland - Hefeweizen FSQ

Upland’s recipe of this classic style was originally brewed in 2016 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reinheitsgebot, a set of laws governing beer purity in certain regions of Germany. To pay tribute to our brewing heritage, we decided to create a German classic, brewed in compliance with these laws. Using only malted grain, hops, water, and yeast, Hefe’s are a rich, cloudy orange color topped with a big bright white head of foam. Very low hopping rates leave room for a balanced mix of banana, and clove flavors, with subtle hints of vanilla and bubble gum. Refreshing and drinkable, this style is perfect for sipping in the sun.
