Beer description
While our friends from Mondo Brewing Company visited us from London, we decided to brew a collaboration beer to celebrate the arrival of spring. We hashed out a recipe by taking the traditional Maibock style, an amber colored, rich, malty beer commonly consumed during spring celebrations, and revolutionizing with the addition of maple syrup after it was fermented. The result is this complex brew which celebrates not only a Trans-Atlantic friendship, but also the end of a long winter.
