Spontaneous, sour
Fermentation
Beer description
Copper-coloured beer with reddish reflections and ivory foam.
Aroma with malty and caramelised notes from the selected barley malts and the presence of acetic acid from the barrel fermentation, which gives the beer freshness.
In flavour, the balance between the caramel and sweet notes of the malt and the acidity of the barrel fermentation, typical of traditional Red Flanders, stands out. This balance is achieved by blending barrel-aged beer and ‘new’ beer.
