Velkorybnický Hastrman California Common No. 96

This type of beer was brewed in California at the time of the gold rush. There was no cooling available for lager production, so bottom fermentation yeast was used for fermentation at temperatures typical of top fermentation. As a result, the proportion of esters in these beers is higher than in lager types.
