Elliott Bay - Velvet Trail

When the Smooth Ambler whiskey barrels arrived, the aromas the came out of them, matched their namesake distillery. Smooth. So instead of putting a huge imperial stout or barleywine into the barrels, we figured we’d match the beer to the barrel and picked our smooth oatmeal stout to be aged. The result is a velvety, smooth sip that reminds me of sitting around a campfire, toasting marshmellows, and sipping whiskey.
