In belgium, everything that can add flavor or value to beer is valid and can be experienced, as the school is free. Different processes, yeasts and a wide variety of ingredients such as fruits, herbs, spices are not only allowed but very welcome in the production of Belgian beers.
The name Dubbel was created in a Trappist monastery. Belgian Dubbel's main ingredient is the sugar syrup produced at Way Beer and which, together with the specific yeast for this style, produces a light flavor and aroma of cloves, dried fruits and nuts.
