Sawdust City - Wet Hop 2017: Chinook

Sawdust City Brewing Company’s brightest and hop-headiest have once again ventured out to harvest fresh Chinook hops for our annual Wet-Hop beer release. The morning of September 8th, 2017, the Sawdust City brew team travelled to Clear Valley Hop Farm in Nottawa, Ontario. Through the early hours they helped with the harvest of their chinook hops. By 11am the hops were picked, bagged and transported 115km back to our Brewery in Gravenhurst. By 1pm the fresh hops were in the brew kettle. Wet-Hop Pale Ale 2017 is the result. Crafted with a nice, bready malt bill to balance loads of fresh, aromatic, whole-cone hops that burst with notes of bright citrus fruit.
