Datum Attitude - We've Come This Far

We first brewed this epic beer to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Falklands conflict and the daring Black Buck missions. The majestic Avro Vulcan holds a special place in our hearts (full credit to Zach Day at Best Day Illustration for the artwork)… “We are short of fuel, but we’ve come this far, I am not turning back now” the words of Vulcan pilot Martin Withers. WCTF is a thick and intensely hopped East Coast style IPA, brewed with a protein heavy grist. Hopped with whirlpool additions of Cascade and Simcoe followed by an excessive single dry hop addition of Simcoe, Citra & Cascade…. Think outrageously thick, with aromas of pine needles, grapefruit and hints of coconut-like tropical fruit balanced by a sweet malt profile, with a long finish. Naturally hazy and unfiltered.
