Locally foraged Shagbark Hickory bark was steeped in the whirlpool which imparted subtle notes of sweet woodsy smoke, adding a most intriguing and welcoming complexity to this robust Brown Ale.
This happens to be a special birthday brew for our fearless Plant Engineer, Matt, who is an experienced woodsman and was the one who foraged the bark involved in this beer.
