Whiplash - Colour Me In Kindness

Appearance - Luminous pale yellow driven by the oats, with a fluffy lingering head. Aroma - Keeping things a little bit lighter this time with a combo of Idaho 7 T90 & Strata CGX, two of my favourite varieties/formats of the year. Idaho 7 laying down a blanket of overripe pineapple & Nectarine to support the passionfruit dropped by the strata. Flavour - The signature dank strawberry that you can only get from strata is on full show, with even more pineapple juice and a hint of bergamot pith from the Idaho 7. This opens back to a touch more passionfruit on the finish Mouthfeel - A little more light-bodied that its DIPA counterpart, allowing the acidic fruit to wash obver the tongue without outstaying their welcome. Slightly high carbonation rounding out a very refreshing IPA.
